Y’all we cannot pack and distribute 600 boxes with half a crew. We’re serving just as many people as we did during Metro Surge when all our shifts were covered weeks in advance and we had folks begging us for opportunities to help out. We’ve been around long enough to expect ebbs and flows but it is honestly frustrating to struggle this hard to fill shifts when our volunteer base grew by the hundreds this year.

Our community depends on us and we’ll always stay as late as needed to pack boxes as long as people are willing to wait, but it takes a toll on us and them.

We need your solidarity all year round, not just during shocking news cycles. CANMN doesn’t exist with sustained community support. Sign up to volunteer with us on Calendly.

Please sign up to help with prep, filling orders at distro or delivering orders to homes — even an hour of time makes a huge difference for local community care!
