Join us this Saturday, October 10 for Growing with God: Early Childhood Faith Formation!

Growing with God is a place for our youngest members and their parents to learn about God and ways to incorporate faith into the everyday. HAUMC members Deb R., Licensed Parent Educator, and Jan R., certified Parent Coach, are helping plan these meet-ups. Together we will share fellowship and support on the parenting journey. Every gathering includes conversations on important parenting topics and hands-on ways to connect with your little ones.

We will gather in Room 103 at HAUMC from 9-11am on Saturday, October 10.

Brian Kaylor presents "The Bible According to Christian Nationalists"
Monday, October 12 | 6:30pm (doors open at 6pm)

Brian Kaylor will discuss his new book “The Bible According to Christian Nationalists.” Brian, a Baptist minister with a Ph.D. in political communication, is President & Editor-in-Chief of Word&Way (a Christian media company based in Missouri since 1896). An award-winning writer and sought-after expert on issues of religion, politics, and communication, Brian is the author or co-author of seven books on religion and politics.

After the discussion, Rev. Angela Denker will moderate a Q&A with Brian.

The presentation will be from 6:30-7:30pm, with a book signing before and after. Registration is encouraged, but not required for attendance. Join us in a few weeks for Trunk or Treat! Help us welcome our neighbors and get an early start on your Trick-or-Treating this year! All are welcome to this super fun Halloween party, so bring your friends, family, and neighbors dressed in all of your best costumes! Visit our events page (haumc.org/events) to sign up to host a trunk, help with s'mores, face painting, and more. There will be fun for all ages!

Can't make it to the event, but still want to be involved? Donate a bag of candy—look for the collection bin in the East Entryway!

The cross that has graced our spire for 110 years was brought down for repair. The city skyline and our hearts miss the proclamation of the cross at the top of the steeple.

As we get bids for replacement or repair, we wanted to provide an opportunity to behold its power.
