🚨This is a terrifying turn of events that will result in Americans drinking unsafe water. Minnesota has led the nation in protecting our community against PFAS by passing Amara’s Law since 2023 – the country’s strongest ban on toxic PFAS.

Clean Water Action Minnesota will continue to support the Minnesota legislature in staying strong regarding PFAS. We will continue to support our partners in other states as they seek to create their own PFAS laws.

This is a frustrating move by the current administration, but we will not give up. Because we KNOW that healthy and safe water is a human right.
Key Biden-era regulations designed to protect the nation’s drinking water from the most dangerous cancer-causing per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, were removed by the Trump administration Monday.
