Don’t worry, I don’t use THC on any job sites, that would be a bad idea.. A sunny Saturday afternoon when some Creeping Charlie has infiltrated the Native Strawberries, that’s a delightful idea. Native Strawberries are tenacious in the wild. You’ll see them in difficult growing situations, just a few here and there. But in your yard, as a cover crop instead of / in addition to boring old mulch, water them a bit if it’s dry and they will absolutely thrive. You probably know that it’s best to pull weeds after a rain or just water a little bit first to make it easier to pull the roots. That water will also help the strawberries spread to get thick and keep Charlie out. These berries are smaller, but approximately 594.97% more flavorful than a strawberry from the grocery store. PLUS- the cute little white flowers have been around as long as the birds and bees so I’m pretty sure they appreciate them. Native Strawberries in your yard 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
