New Richland Area Foundation Fund

New Richland Area Foundation Fund New Richland Area Foundation Fund The NRAFF is a community foundation which gives the public the option to build charitable funds.

When people contribute, or make donations, the money is invested with other funds. The money earned from the investment is used to make grants to non-profit organizations in the New Richland area to fulfill their goals. The NRAFF, under the direction of the Waseca Area Foundation through its affiliation with the Minnesota Community Foundation is a partner in helping individuals, with their advisors, realize the potential of their contributions.

Yesterday was our favorite day of the year - Grant Day! We did it a little differently this year, and did a “grant tour”. Our first stop was the New Richland Public Library where we got to meet their new librarian, Fawn! Next, we headed out to the Sportsman Club and had a lot of laughs with some of the club members! We ended our tour at the school in Ellendale where we were able to give out several grants for various projects and clubs!

What an incredible weekend! Thank you to the performers, Gavin Berg, Adam Moen, Eva Wayne & Ellen Johnson. Your talents are endless and we are so grateful that you shared them with us! Thank you to Trinity Lutheran Church for a gorgeous venue to host the concert! Thank you to the audience “volunteers”, your willingness to participate is so appreciated and very entertaining! Thank you to Jodi Wayne for the photographs that help capture the beauty of the weekend!

To quote Gavin this weekend, “it pays to have talented friends”. And because we are lucky to have Gavin, Adam, Eva & Ellen as friends to the foundation, we were able to raise just over $15,000 for the New Richland Area Foundation!
