🚨 RALLY TO DEFEND THE BWCA📣The Climate Justice Committee demands Governor Walz direct the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to cancel Twin Metals’ state mineral lease. Twin Metals is already conducting exploratory drilling for its toxic copper-nickel sulfide mine at the edge of the Boundary Waters.
100% of sulfide mines have produced sulfuric acid as a byproduct, which would not only cause irreparable damage to Minnesota’s precious boundary waters, but would also endanger the future of the tourism industry that the region depends on. CANCEL THE LEASE NOW!

🚨 Northern Iron Rally 6/13 🚨

While multiple battles play out in court, keep up the momentum and tell Northern Iron that Eastside is done breathing in their toxic pollution.

The momentum is on our side, but the campaign for clean air isn’t over yet! Northern Iron is still claiming that they haven’t been caught exceeding their pollution levels, but that’s only because they have been caught for failing to report to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. A lie of omission is still a lie, and we aren’t buying it! Spring is here, come spend an afternoon fighting back against toxic air pollution!
