🌟TFP Program Spotlight: Early Childhood Education and Care🌟

🍎Did you know? Only 60% of preschoolers statewide graduate kindergarten-ready. For households with low incomes, that number drops to 52%.

🍎In 2025, 100% of Four Directions preschoolers graduated kindergarten-ready. 4D also expanded infant care and cultural programming.

🍎We also provided developmental therapies to 161 children. Our staff of highly trained providers offer occupational, physical, speech, and play-based therapy to all preschool students.

Our team has been having a pele-ton of fun this week! We'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to Chartwell Financial Advisory, in partnership with Best Corporate Events, who organized a group activity on Tuesday for their staff to assemble children's bicycles. Thanks to their generous support, 26 kids from the Family Partnership will have the opportunity to ride in style this summer. We look forward to our kiddos getting outside to enjoy all the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of biking.

TFP is proud to share our 2025 Annual Report: Rooted in Healing, Growing Together. Thanks to partners like you, we were able to provide services to over 4,000 individuals amid a period of great hardship and uncertainty for our community. CEO Emily Larson shares her reflections after her first year leading the organization:

Ready, set, SPLASH! Students from Four Directions preschool recently took a neighborhood field trip to Powderhorn Park. The wading pool was the perfect way for our learners to cool off on a summer day.

We recently celebrated an Ojibwe Immersion graduation for three of our little friends at Four Directions by taking a walk over to Four Sisters Urban Farm. We had a lovely day playing in the garden and learning about the medicinal plants Four Sisters is planning to grow this season. 🌱✨
