Great news for anyone who cares about su***de prevention! Today, Option 3 is returning to the 988 Lifeline.

You may recall, last year the national administrator of 988 discontinued its support line for LGBTQ+ young people. Although 988 is always here for everyone, we know that many callers appreciated the chance to talk to a dedicated resource that was tailored to their specific needs.

Today, 988 callers will once again be able to opt into the LGBTQ+ support line – just call 988 and press "3" when prompted. All of 988's other services remain unchanged.
