We’re grateful to see the importance of crisis care for children and families highlighted in two recent stories.

WCCO Radio and Sheletta Brundidge recently shared the news of United Health Foundation's $1 million investment in organizations supporting children and families across the Twin Cities, including a generous $150,000 grant to the Nursery.

And MinnPost recently took a closer look at the vital role crisis nurseries play in our community, highlighting how they provide free, short-term care when families are navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.

Look what rolled into the Nursery! 🥳Last week, the amazing team at the Special Olympics USA Games dropped off 13 limited-edition WonderFold Stroller Wagons!

As an official sponsor of the Games—which were recently held right here in Minnesota—WonderFold created these wagons with sensory sensitivity in mind to support over 3,000 incredible athletes.

These wagons will provide amazing support for our staff and children, thank you so much to the team at WonderFold for this incredibly generous donation! 💚

Last week, we celebrated Mary Pat Lee’s retirement surrounded by longtime Nursery supporters, volunteers, and staff. Thank you to everyone who joined us in thanking Mary Pat for her dedicated leadership and incredible 20 years of service the Nursery and our community!

Celebrating Pride, Juneteenth, and each other!

This week, our team came together to celebrate with a game of Jeopardy, delicious food from , and lots of fun activities.

We also gifted Mary Pat a portrait done by one of the kiddos at the Nursery, filled with staff notes, to celebrate her retirement and 20 incredible years with us! 🎨❤️
