We have been gushing about our first camp in Denver, CO but it took a lot of folks to make this opportunity happen! We were invited to come by in partnership with Pavilion Denver and others. They asked us to host a shortened camp week with our showcase being a performance to open up a night of music from and !

And we had the most magical, artistic space for camp and a wonderful host! Thank you Luck for opening up your home at to us for the week. If you're in Denver or if you need space for your event, please check out this space. Not only is it beautiful, full of art by local artists, the energy there is healing, artsy, fun, and welcoming.

Although our whole things is traveling from camp to camp, this one was a stretch for our timeline, van, trailer, and instruments. Lucky for us, not only let us their instruments, but also helped us load them in and back out again! This is truly what our organizations are all about!

Of course, the youth and their families make up camp and our volunteers keep us all going and moving forward. This week was exactly what we hope for Rock The Rez to be. A space that we make available, but the community fills in the programming, arts, fun, and connection. Pilamayaye to all involved!

UPDATE: it’s been found!!!

Our van was just stolen with the trailer attached at 1:30pm. Please keep an eye out.. this has all of our stuff for camp inside of it and we were just getting ready to go to setup for our Twin Cities Camp!

✨We have been basking in the awe of our South Dakota campers while simultaneously preparing for our next round of camps!

💖Thank you to all our friends, families, volunteers, and collaborators for making our South Dakota camps a success. 🤘Thank you to our campers for being the amazing creative people you are! The songs these kids wrote= beyond amazing 🤩

🎸We’ve got our Twin Cities camp up first! Starting July 27th!

🎤Next we have a mini camp in Denver- starting August 6th!

🥁We wrap up the summer tour in Bemidji- starting August 17th!

💡There are still a few camper spots available in all locations! Join us for some end of summer fun!

🎒 📏 We're preparing for the next school year for the youth of the Rosebud Sicangu! ✏️ 🎒

We've set up a QR Code with a link to an Amazon wishlist with the basic supplies needed for each student, and you can help us!
Each donation helps more children get a solid start to the school year, and puts less financial pressure on teachers, who often use their own money to buy school supplies for their classrooms.

SEEKING: Native American/Indigenous youth ages 10-18 . Powwow dancing experience is a plus, but not necessary.

AUDITION PREPERATION: Actors should prepare a story to tell, and a song to be sung acapella (without accompaniment). Each should be under two minutes in length. Please dress for movement.
