The QS App is soft launching in September, and we're in need for 2SLGBTQIA+ mentors! 🌈

If you or someone you know meets these mentor requirements, we encourage you to sign up at: https://heyor.ca/24Q3mN

⚑ Identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
⚑ Age 25 or older
⚑ Live in the U.S.
⚑ Able to chat weekly with a mentee and commit 6-months to the program
⚑ Complete and pass a screening process, including a background check, staff interview, and mentor training

Many of us can name a moment when having a supportive adult in our lives would have made a difference. This is an opportunity to be that person for someone else!

P.S. We're intentionally enrolling mentors first, so youth will have immediate support when the app becomes available nationwide in October. Stay tuned for our official launch!

Please welcome the newest addition to our staff, Miller (they/them)! πŸ‘‹

In their 14 year career, Miller has worked with youth of all ages with a special focus on those with disabilities and who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. They're committed to uplifting youth voices and empowering them to show up as their authentic selves through mentorship, community building, and outreach. Their mission is to be the adult that they needed as a young person.

Miller's role as Program Coordinator is supporting matches in our 1:1 mentorship program. As QUEERSPACE expands our reach, we're thrilled to grow our incredible team to empower more Q***r and Trans youth!

Hot off the press β€” our 2025 Annual Report is ready! 🌟

2025 marked our first full year of programming at the QS Youth Center. What began as a bold idea has become a vibrant community where Q***r and Trans young people share meals, make art, build friendships, and experience the freedom to be themselves.

Together, we:
⚑Supported 5,000 youth and 240 families
⚑Hosted 103 hangouts at the QS Youth Center
⚑Celebrated more than 100 mentor-mentee matches since we launched
⚑Expanded programming and partnerships in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud
⚑Trained 535 people from 20 organizations to create more inclusive spaces

This work reminds us that belonging is not passive. It is something we build through relationships, shared experiences, and the intentional choice to make room for every young person to be seen, celebrated, and valued.

Read the report to see what you helped make possible: https://heyor.ca/mPqtUO. Thank you for being part of our collective. πŸ’œ

Offlined so hard we realized we barely took photos. πŸ˜…

Every year after Pride Month, our team retreats to Pepin for a well-deserved break to reflect, recharge, and reconnect. We traded city skylines for small-town charm, think stargazing, BBQs, creek swims, and plenty of quality time together.

Between the fun, we also rolled up our sleeves to map out our next 3-year strategic plan and envision QUEERSPACE 10 years from now.

A deeply meaningful reset that helps us continue showing up with intentionality, authenticity, and heart. Because caring for our community starts with caring for the people who make this work possible. πŸ’—
