August Construction Update!
August has been an action-packed month for our construction team as volunteers, staff and partners work together to keep our home builds on track. We want to give a special shoutout to our fellow Wisconsin Habitat affiliates who helped make this possible.
Last week, we were honored to welcome a team from Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, who traveled to the Fox Cities for three days to support our construction efforts. During their visit, they worked alongside our staff and volunteers on a variety of projects, including installing siding and assisting with new home construction activities.
This week, we were equally fortunate to receive support from Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. Their team spent time helping construct a new two-car garage at an existing Habitat homeowner's property. This project will provide valuable additional storage and functionality for the homeowner while also enhancing the property's long-term value.
We are incredibly grateful for both teams’ hard work, positive attitudes and willingness to serve. Their support helped keep projects moving forward and showcased the strength of the Habitat network. By working together, sharing resources and lending a helping hand when needed, Habitat affiliates can accomplish even more for the families and communities we serve.
