The Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that focuses on empowering families to gain access to safe and affordable housing. A decent, affordable place to live can create a situation where homeowners save more, invest in education, pursue opportunity and have more financial stability.

Meet 2026 Homebuyer, Emily!

Family has always been at the center of Emily’s life. As a mom, she has worked hard to create a safe, supportive environment for her children while overcoming life's challenges along the way.

After navigating a divorce, caring for her mother, attending college, and pursuing a career in nursing, Emily never gave up on her dream of providing lasting stability for her family. Today, she is a licensed practical nurse helping others every day, and she is now taking the next step toward homeownership through Fox Cities Habitat.

For Emily, a home means more than four walls. It means a place where her children can feel safe, gather with family, invite friends over, and build memories that will last a lifetime.

We are honored to partner with Emily on her homeownership journey and can't wait to see her family thrive in a place they can proudly call home. ❤️

May Construction Update!

May was a busy month for our construction team! Between our 25th Annual Rock the Block event in Menasha and the continued progress on our next round of Habitat homes, there was certainly never a dull day.

This week, we have started the 9th new-build home of the year, with several more properties scheduled for excavation in June. From walls being raised and roofs going on, to the finishing touches being completed, each home represents an important milestone for a family on their journey toward stability through homeownership. We are honored to be a part of that journey.

Our new Construction Supervisors are also doing a fantastic job learning the Habitat way of building, developing relationships with the Senior Crew and volunteers, and gaining experience in managing our build sites.

Fox Cities Habitat was proud to support Kaukauna's River View Middle School students during their annual Day of Service at the Statesburg Apartments!

Students rolled up their sleeves to help refresh this area through landscaping, spreading mulch, filling planter beds, planting trees, and so much more. Their hard work and teamwork made a meaningful impact for residents.

We’re honored to help provide the tools and equipment that powered these efforts and to support students who are already making a difference in their community. When people come together to serve others, small acts of care can create lasting change.💙

What an incredible three days in Menasha for the 2026 Rock the Block!

This event brought neighbors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners together to help transform our community through exterior repairs, landscaping, and so much more. Over three days, more than 250 volunteers helped complete 25 projects for our 25th event.

To every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor and partner who made this work possible, every homeowner who welcomed us in, and every community member who cheered us on and supported this effort, thank you. This is what happens when a community comes together with heart, purpose, and a shared commitment to caring for one another.

The energy, teamwork, and kindness shown throughout Rock the Block reminded us that transformation happens one project, one conversation, and one act of service at a time. Thank you, Menasha, for making Rock the Block 2026 such a success! 🎉

Family Spotlight: Meet future homebuyers Lauren and DeVaughn!

DeVaughn and Lauren are busy parents to two little ones, Miles and Selah, whose days are filled with laughter, games, movies, afternoons at the pool, and family time. As they’ve navigated the challenges of raising two young children while balancing rising housing costs and post-birth health concerns, they’ve stayed focused on creating a safe and stable future for their family.

After learning about Fox Cities Habitat through family, they began their Habitat homeownership journey with hopes of finding a home where their children can grow, play, and thrive. They’re especially excited to create special spaces for their kids, complete with fun themes (like Ms. Rachel or Elmo) and room to make lasting memories together. 💙

A new partnership in Menasha is helping more homeowners stay safe, stable, and in the homes they love. 🏡

In collaboration with the City of Menasha, we’re expanding access to critical home repairs and making a lasting impact for families across the community. With a $100,000 investment from the City of Menasha, we're able to help strengthen the impact of those funds by leveraging community resources, allowing us to serve even more families.

For longtime resident Karen, that meant the repairs she needed to feel safe and proud of her home again.
