For over 30 years, Volunteer Fox Cities has partnered with local nonprofit agencies, schools and businesses to serve hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of volunteers in Calumet, Outagamie, Waupaca and Winnebago counties. Volunteer Fox Cities is at the forefront of addressing many community needs, such as mentoring, literacy and youth volunteerism.

On Tuesday, our team had the pleasure of delivering 12 boxes of Giggle Kits and Hygiene Kits from our friends at Thrivent to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley.

The Giggle Kits provide social and emotional support for kids, filled with playful, calming, and creative items. The Hygiene Kits give youth and teens the supplies they need to care for their bodies.

We are grateful for Thrivent’s generosity, for the opportunity to play a small part in supporting local organizations with these important resources, and to Avis Budget Of Wisconsin for our van, which helps us pick up and deliver items like these across our community.

Yesterday our CEO, Carolyn Desrosiers, and United Way Fox Cities CEO, Lisa Kogan-Praska, hopped in the car for a Day of Caring Road Trip, visiting *almost* all of the 17 volunteer projects – experience the day through their lens!

Thank you to the 200+ volunteers who chose to give back yesterday, the 17 nonprofit partners who welcomed them, and to United Way Fox Cities for this collaboration!

We had a blast this morning at the Volunteer Waupaca Day of Service. About 40 volunteers tackled 10+ volunteer projects across Waupaca, culminating in fun and fellowship over lunch. We're grateful to everyone who showed up to volunteer (despite the heat!) and to the partners and sponsors who made this possible! Rotary Club of Waupaca, City of Waupaca Parks and Recreation, Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce, Waupaca Area Public Library, Extension Waupaca County, Waupaca Community Arts Hub, the Waupaca Community Chest, and the Waupaca Area Community Foundation within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
