Good afternoon Weis N Miners Geology Club! It just occurred to me that the Packers play a Thursday night game on the 29th, the night of our meeting. I would reschedule to Wednesday the 28th, however our Brewers will be playing the 5th game in the World Series that evening. I'd like to see a good turnout for our meeting, so would it be in the best interest of attendance to reschedule until November 5th? Let me know in the comments! Go Pack Go! Go Brew Crew!

Good evening Weis n Miners! We've made the decision to cancel our August meeting. I know many are very busy with the end of summer, start of school, and top that with the continued clean up efforts, we did not think many, if any, would be in attendance. We will have a September meeting, location to be announced.

Club members, I have not ventured to the Menasha area since the tornado. I know many people were affected and need time to process, clean up, and repair property. Should we wait until September for our next meeting, or are enough people interested in an August meeting with a show and tell/ rock swap at the library?

Club members, due to the weather events today, our July meeting has been canceled. The NEW metal detecting club's clubhouse was unfortunately damaged in the tornado. Thankfully no one was injured, however they will need time to repair their building. We will reconvene with them in the future and reschedule our presentation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Menasha and the surrounding affected communities.

Just a reminder that our June meeting is TONIGHT at the Barlow Planetarium. See everyone there!
