If you’ve been complaining about everything happening in our country—go vote. If you’re satisfied with the direction our country is going—go vote. If you want change—go vote. If you want things to remain the same—go vote.

We may not agree on every issue, candidate, or policy, but we should all understand the importance of exercising our right to vote. Don’t wait until Election Day to discover that your registration is inactive, your polling location has changed, or you missed an important deadline.

As esteemed members of the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce (SCBCC), brothers from Upsilon chapter had the unique opportunity to listen intently to municipal leaders from across Brevard County, who imparted updates on economic development, significant projects, infrastructure enhancements, and the visionary initiatives sculpting their communities. Additionally, they gleaned invaluable insights during the 2026 Florida Legislative Debrief, which provided a captivating recap of key legislative actions and policy decisions poised to influence veteran businesses, workforce development, and the flourishing economic landscape of our region in Florida.

This collaboration is pivotal in fostering a spirit of community service and responsibility among young individuals.

As role models, the Brothers of Upsilon Chapter are committed to motivating the next generation. By actively participating in community service projects, we aim to instill the values of dedication, responsibility, and giving back in the youth. “Deeds Not Words,” underscores the importance of taking action to make a difference.

Lambda Leadership Academy (LLA) Graduation – ILDC Class 2026‑06

Last weekend, I had the honor of graduating 26 exceptional leaders from the Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity’s Lambda Leadership Academy Intermediate Leadership Development Course (ILDC). Over 18 weeks, these brothers and sisters were challenged through rigorous lessons, leadership concepts, and character‑shaping exercises designed to stretch what they believed they knew about leadership today and in the future.

This cohort began with 37 members who committed to an intense leadership journey. They completed a comprehensive CAPSTONE exercise that tested everything they learned, requiring both individual and group solutions to a complex conflict scenario. Some members had to pause their journey due to financial, family, or personal obligations, but their effort remains honored. LLA has now graduated more than one hundred leaders, and this record‑breaking ILDC 2026‑06 class sets a new standard for developing leaders across KLC and our sister sorority, Kappa Epsilon Psi (KEY).

At our National Convention in St. Louis, we celebrated the largest graduating class in Academy history: 23 members from KLC and 3 from KEY, the first class conducted in full support of our constitutional partnership. Eight graduates earned Honor Graduate status with scores of 95% or higher, and for the first time, two Distinguished Honor Graduates achieved an outstanding 99%. This is the highest number of honor graduates ever, even with the course becoming more challenging and interactive.

Please join me in celebrating these prepared, tested, and purpose‑driven leaders. My prayer is that they use what they’ve learned to make meaningful impact not only within KLC and KEY, but in their communities and in the lives of others.
