Lambda Leadership Academy (LLA) Graduation – ILDC Class 2026‑06

Last weekend, I had the honor of graduating 26 exceptional leaders from the Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity’s Lambda Leadership Academy Intermediate Leadership Development Course (ILDC). Over 18 weeks, these brothers and sisters were challenged through rigorous lessons, leadership concepts, and character‑shaping exercises designed to stretch what they believed they knew about leadership today and in the future.

This cohort began with 37 members who committed to an intense leadership journey. They completed a comprehensive CAPSTONE exercise that tested everything they learned, requiring both individual and group solutions to a complex conflict scenario. Some members had to pause their journey due to financial, family, or personal obligations, but their effort remains honored. LLA has now graduated more than one hundred leaders, and this record‑breaking ILDC 2026‑06 class sets a new standard for developing leaders across KLC and our sister sorority, Kappa Epsilon Psi (KEY).

At our National Convention in St. Louis, we celebrated the largest graduating class in Academy history: 23 members from KLC and 3 from KEY, the first class conducted in full support of our constitutional partnership. Eight graduates earned Honor Graduate status with scores of 95% or higher, and for the first time, two Distinguished Honor Graduates achieved an outstanding 99%. This is the highest number of honor graduates ever, even with the course becoming more challenging and interactive.

Please join me in celebrating these prepared, tested, and purpose‑driven leaders. My prayer is that they use what they’ve learned to make meaningful impact not only within KLC and KEY, but in their communities and in the lives of others.

Resilient leaders lead with purpose, endure challenges, adapt to change, and develop themselves and their teams. This theme reflects the full journey of resilient leadership. Brother Phelps of Upsilon Chapter had the pleasure of assisting the wonderful women of Sisters of Strength LLC with their backpack and school supply donation event at Rolling Hills Elementary School. They donated over $7,000 worth of school supplies to Rolling Hills Elementary and have adopted the school for future supporting events. It was an awesome experience.

Brothers from Upsilon chapter came together with our sister sororities to give back to the community by providing school book bags for the Plant City, Florida High School JROTC program. KAX, KEYS, and Zetas partnered on this effort, with Keys leading the partnership and everyone pitching in to make it happen. One of the Keys’ sons is also in the JROTC program at the school, which made it especially meaningful to support a community where we have a personal connection.
