We have an autism epidemic. It is not due to better diagnoses. 30 years, we did not have special autism classrooms and an autistic student in every class. Now we see low functioning autistic classrooms in every school and multiple higher-functioning autistic students in every regular classroom.
The rise is undeniable.

It is nice to see more recognition of our apraxic spellers and their need for access to motor-based AAC communication methods by main stream media outlets.
