Our friends at North Brevard Charities & Thrift Store are having an AWESOME fundraiser on October 31st in collaboartion with the Brevard Zoo! There will be a costume contest, fashion show, and more!

It's officially October and we're wondering, "What are you doing on Halloween?" 🎃

If you're looking for some fun that supports a good cause, join us for a Halloween Cause-tume Party on Friday, October 31, from 7-10 PM for a fundraiser to support our nonprofit work.

Grab your friends and your favorite costume, and come to party! 🎉 Watch the sun set and enjoy the magic of the night at Brevard Zoo's Nyami Nyami River Lodge, overlooking the water and animal sanctuaries. 🦓

We'll have cocktails and appetizers 🍸, dancing and games, a fashion show, silent auction, costume contest, and more.

Thank you WAYS for Life for being part of the Space Swap, weVENTURE, & Groundswell Startups Professional Clothing Swap!❤️

We love and support your mission to help youth phasing out of foster care!

👔✨ Professional Clothing Swap = SUCH a fun event!

This past week, we had the pleasure of vending at a Professional Clothing Swap put on by Space Swap weVENTURE Groundswell Startups and loved every minute of it. The location was perfect, and the event was packed with incredible people supporting our community.

We saw so many familiar faces, including Marifer from CAMID, who helps our members get into summer camps, a representative from Fifth Third Bank, who partners with us to teach our GED students about finances and banking skills, and Staci Sullivan, who created a personalized custom piece for WAYS to help raise awareness and support fundraising efforts. We were thrilled to pick out professional clothing to bring back to our office to support our members making moves in their career pathways. 🙌

It was also amazing seeing The Women’s Center tabling and connecting with so many other local organizations and entrepreneurs. From networking with inspiring people to learning from speakers, and even a seamstress to tailor clothes — this event had it all!

Such a community-driven, empowering, and fun event. We’re so glad to have been part of it! 💼💖
