JA inspires students to develop competitive skills and confidence. Their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth.

Junior Achievement of the Space Coast (JASC) is working to build a better Brevard through our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills. Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators, and volunteers, Junior Achievement of the Space Coast helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school, building a bridge between what kids learn in the classroom to how it is applied in the real world. JA empowers Brevard County young people to own their economic success.

Our Director of Workforce, Pauletta DaSilva, hosted JA GLOW today at Cocoa High School and led a panel with Emily Rupolo, Jennifer Harvin, and Gloria Linette Weatherspoon, where we talked about careers, planning a future, and the power of women supporting each other.

Thank you, Emily, Jennifer, and Gloria, for spending the morning with our students and sharing your wisdom and advice. Thank you also to Cocoa High School for inviting us and helping us encourage so many young women today!

We are embarking on an exciting new chapter for Junior Achievement as JACF and JASC unite to become Junior Achievement of Central Florida & the Space Coast.
As Florida's workforce continues to evolve, this merge will position us to connect even more students with the skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to thrive in the careers of tomorrow.
We are Greater Together in service to Florida’s future workforce, and have immense gratitude for the Central Florida community’s support as we face the essential challenges of the modern economy.

Our CEO, Karen Revels, recently spent the day at the 8th Space Coast Symposium & Expo, hosted by the The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. Here, she connected with leaders who are helping shape the Space Coast. With the region continuing to grow at a rapid pace, the need to prepare young people for the careers being created right here in Brevard County has never been greater.
Karen and Fran Korosec had the opportunity to meet with JACFSC board member Kaori Fischer of Edward Jones, and Brevard Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell, continuing valuable conversations and building partnerships that connect students to education, careers, and opportunity.

As Junior Achievement of Central Florida & the Space Coast continues to grow our presence in Brevard, we are committed to being part of these important workforce and economic-development conversations and making sure students are prepared for what comes next.
We are excited about the future of the Space Coast – and even more excited about the role our students will play in it.
