Offering hope and healing to the addicted, broken, and homeless in Brevard County for nearly 60 years.

We will be updating our page weekly to inform you on progress we are making here at CITA. We are always needing your donations and volunteering your time to help our efforts work. We have never accepted money from the Government we have always built our business on people who care enough to give to the needy and help minister true change through a relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Putting Our Crowns Down to Serve: Our Partnership with CITA 👑✨

We are beyond honored to partner with CITA Rescue Mission Christ is the Answer Rescue Mission and support the great, life-changing work they have been doing right here in our community for 60 years.

Operating entirely on the heart of volunteers and the generosity of donations, CITA has spent six decades providing vital support for individuals working toward recovery, as well as a safe harbor for women and children escaping domestic violence.❤️‍🩹

As a pageant organization, we believe true royalty is found in service. That is why we are honored to come alongside CITA—volunteering our time and donating at Helen’s House, raising awareness, and helping carry out this mission to ensure CITA’s powerful legacy continues to thrive.

A special thank-you to Chris Hughes for taking the time to meet with us, share their story, and talk about his deep passion for serving others. His dedication to this mission is truly inspiring to our entire court!

Want to learn more or find ways to get involved? Visit CitaRescueMission.org and follow them on social media to see the difference they’re making every day.

✝️ What a day to celebrate!

We’re heading to the beach to baptize 8 men who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and are taking this next step of obedience in their faith!

It is such a blessing to see lives being changed and to witness firsthand that Christ truly is the Answer. 💚

Please join us in praying for these men as they continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus, remain rooted in His Word, and walk faithfully with Him.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death... even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

📸 We’ll be sharing pictures from the baptisms later, so stay tuned!

🎉 Congratulations, Norm!

After 15 great months at Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission, Norm has officially graduated from our program and is moving into a place of his own!

We’re grateful for the growth we’ve seen in Norm during his time here and excited to watch him step into this next chapter. Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. 💚

And there’s more to his story. Next Tuesday, we’ll be sharing Norm’s video testimony, where you’ll get to hear in his own words what God has done in his life. Keep an eye out!

“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

A HUGE thank you to the students from Calvary Chapel Academy for preparing treat bags for our guests at Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission.

The treats were a blessing, but what meant even more were the handwritten notes tucked inside reminding our guests that they are loved and cared for.

Those simple messages made a real impact. We have already seen some of our guests put the notes on display in their personal spaces as a reminder of that encouragement.

Thank you for taking the time to show love in such a personal and meaningful way.

“Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.” 1 John 3:18

Sometimes the picture just writes the post for us. 😂

We recently received a large donation of Cheetos, and it just so happened that one of our thrift stores had a Cheetos hoodie waiting for the perfect moment.

Naturally, Byron from our kitchen couldn’t resist!

We’re thankful for generous donations that help us serve our guests, and we’re also thankful for the laughter and fun that happen along the way.

“A joyful heart is good medicine.” Proverbs 17:22

And yes, you really can find things like this in our thrift stores! Follow along and check our thrift store page at CITA Thrift to stay up to date on specials, unique finds, and items we highlight.

🙏 Please join us in praying for one of our board members, Trey, and the team from MPACT, Men Passionate About Christ.

Trey, who helps lead MPACT, has been serving on a mission trip in Juarez, Mexico, sharing the love of Christ, serving others, and encouraging believers alongside a group of men committed to growing together in the Lord.

As they wrap up their time in Mexico, please pray that God continues to use the seeds that were planted and that He gives the entire team safe travels home.

We also encourage you to follow MPACT - Men Passionate About Christ and learn more about their ministry of men coming together, encouraging one another, and growing stronger in their walk with Christ.

🎉 Who knew skipping a school uniform could make such a difference?

Students at Bethany Christian School recently took part in a N.U.T. Day fundraiser, which stands for No Uniform Today. By making a donation to Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission, students were able to leave the uniform at home for a few days while helping support the men, women, and children we serve.

Together, they raised $496 for CITA! 💚

We love seeing young people learn that generosity can be simple, fun, and meaningful. Thank you to the students, families, and staff at Bethany Christian School for choosing to make a difference in our community.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

💚 A huge thank you to JRS Building Services!

Their generous donation helped us purchase much-needed hygiene supplies for the men and women we serve, including 1,200 razors, 120 deodorants, 200 personal shampoos, and 200 personal conditioners.

These everyday essentials may seem simple, but they make a real difference in helping our guests feel cared for, maintain dignity, and move forward with confidence.

We’re incredibly grateful to JRS Building Services for investing in the people we serve and helping us meet practical needs in such a meaningful way.

💚 A special welcome to Peter Chell!

Peter has already been serving at Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission by volunteering in our kitchen, and recently he stepped into chapel for the first time to share God’s Word.

His message from John 3:16 focused on one powerful word, “whosoever.” He reminded our men that no matter their past or where they are today, they are included in that invitation too.

We’re grateful for Peter’s heart to serve and encourage others, and for the gifts God has given him to share.

💡 Did you know? Our thrift stores are an important part of the ministry of Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission.

When you shop, donate, or volunteer at our thrift stores, you’re doing much more than helping give donated items a new home. You’re helping support the work we do every day to serve men, women, and children in our community.

The revenue from our stores helps us provide meals, housing, recovery programs, biblical teaching, life skills, and other resources that help people move toward a new life in Christ. 💚

So the next time you’re looking for a great deal or have gently used items to donate, remember that your support can make a real difference in someone’s life.
