We will be updating our page weekly to inform you on progress we are making here at CITA. We are always needing your donations and volunteering your time to help our efforts work. We have never accepted money from the Government we have always built our business on people who care enough to give to the needy and help minister true change through a relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A few days ago, we had the privilege of watching one of our residents step up and lead chapel for the men at CITA.

He began by leading everyone in “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus” and then shared from God’s Word about the danger of allowing sin to remain in our lives. What may seem small at first can quickly grow, take control, and create distance in our relationship with the Lord.

It was such a blessing to see a man who came to CITA for help now standing before others and encouraging them through Scripture.

A huge thank you to Wings of Grace Ministries, Inc. for partnering with us for Reason to Ride and donating our biggest raffle prize this year! 🚁

Wings of Grace is doing incredible work in our community through Christian mentorship, aviation training, housing, missions, and opportunities that help youth and young adults build skills, confidence, and purpose.

We are so thankful for the volunteers from First Baptist Church of Melbourne who continue to faithfully serve at our Helen’s House Thrift Store. 💚

This team consistently show up ready to work, whether that means sorting donations, organizing clothing, preparing items for the sales floor, or simply helping wherever they are needed.

Their shirts say “Love Your Neighbor,” and they are doing exactly that.

Volunteers make such a difference in the day to day work of Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission. Every hour they give helps our thrift stores operate more effectively and ultimately helps support the ministry and the men, women, and children we serve.

Thank you to our friends at First Baptist Church of Melbourne for continuing to give your time and serve alongside us.

We appreciate you more than you know. 🙌💚

We’re excited to welcome one of our newest volunteers, Paul! 🙌

Paul and his wife have a real heart to serve, and he recently jumped right in by helping in the kitchen at Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission.

Paul also has a heart for ministry, and we’re looking forward to seeing him serve in a variety of areas at CITA, including the kitchen, our thrift stores, and chapel.

Volunteers like Paul make such a difference because they’re not just helping with a task. They’re giving their time, using their gifts, building relationships, and helping us serve the men, women, and children who come through our doors.

Paul, thank you for being willing to serve. We’re grateful to have you as part of the CITA volunteer family!

God’s timing is always perfect. 💚

We want to give a huge thank you to Love INC of Brevard for recently donating hygiene products to Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission.

They had been collecting these items through a donation drive, and their gift came at a time when we truly needed them.

It was one of those moments where you can clearly see how God provides through the generosity of His people and that He is never late.

We are so thankful for Love INC of Brevard and for several others that stepped up when we communicated this need. When needs arise, we are continually blessed by people who are willing to step in and help.

Thank you, Love INC of Brevard, for being part of that and for helping us care for the men, women, and children we serve. 💚

🙌 We love seeing our chapel filled with people who are willing to come in and share God’s Word with the men in our program.

Since we have chapel twice a day, our men get to hear from many different pastors, volunteers, ministry leaders, and speakers throughout the week.

But this one is especially meaningful.

Wayne Valentine is a graduate of our program, and he regularly comes back to speak in chapel and encourage the men who are now walking a road he knows very well.

And Wayne is not the only graduate who does this.

How incredible is it to see God continue to use these men after He has radically transformed their lives through Jesus Christ? Men who once came to CITA needing help are now coming back to pour into others, share what God has done in their lives, and point the next group of men toward Christ.

💚 Sometimes the people you’re helping find a way to help right back.

Recently, we mentioned a need for a new TV in the men’s dorm lobby so we could launch our new digital daily schedule, giving our guests an easy way to see appointments, duties, announcements, and what’s happening each day.

One of our guests, Tony, heard about the need and decided on his own that he wanted to do something about it. He went out, purchased the TV, and donated it to Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission.

And that wasn’t all.

Tony also heard that our kitchen needed new reusable bowls, so he went out and purchased a case of those for the Mission as well.

Tony is nearing graduation from our program and, at the end of this month, will be moving into a place of his own. Before even taking that next step, he chose to give back and help meet needs for the men who will come behind him.

Tony, thank you! Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and willingness to step up mean more than you know. We’re grateful for you and excited to see what God has ahead.

THIS is what true life transformation is all about. 🙌

We recently had the incredible joy of celebrating as guests from Helen’s House took the step of baptism, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ and the new life they have found in Him.

This is the heart of what we pray for at CITA. We can offer shelter, meals, support, and a place to rebuild, but lasting transformation comes through Jesus Christ. Seeing these guests publicly declare their faith through baptism is something worth celebrating.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” - *2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

We are so thankful for everyone who comes alongside CITA and makes it possible for us to continue walking with men, women, and children as they rebuild their lives.
