The Aldrin Family Foundation’s annual Space Curriculum Collaborative brought educators from across the country together to learn, collaborate, create, and recharge.

Throughout the Collaborative, educators learned from an incredible group of speakers—Kristen, Brian, Maddy, and Carmen—who shared their knowledge, experiences, and passion for space and STEM. Their insights sparked new ideas and conversations that educators could carry into their lesson development and, ultimately, back to their students.

Educators worked together to develop space-themed lessons to take back to their schools, exchanged ideas with one another, and had the opportunity to explore Kennedy Space Center—reconnecting with the curiosity and wonder they work so hard to spark in their own students.

Some wonderful partners helped make the experience even more special.

A huge thank you to Moleskine for providing space-inspired notebooks for our educators. From the glow-in-the-dark astronaut on the cover to the space illustrations, prompts, planets, and doodle pages inside, the notebooks were a hit!

Our educators said it best: “LOVE LOVE LOVE the Moleskine notebooks with the ‘glow-in-the-dark’ space theme! It was out of this world!” — Celeste S.

And a big thank you to For the Win for providing lunch and keeping our educators fueled for a full day of learning, creating, connecting, and exploring.

We are incredibly grateful for partners who recognize the importance of investing in educators. When teachers have opportunities to learn, explore, collaborate, and be inspired themselves, they bring that excitement back to their classrooms—and share it with the next generation of explorers.

🌕 A new way to experience the Moon has arrived.

The Aldrin Family Foundation is proud to officially launch the updated Giant Moon Map™ — a hands-on educational experience designed to bring space exploration directly into K–12 classrooms around the world.

Built from real lunar imagery and topographic data, the Giant Moon Map™ transforms STEM learning into an immersive journey where students can walk across the lunar surface, analyze Apollo and Artemis landing sites, and explore the science and engineering behind future exploration missions.

We’re also excited to announce a new partnership with Moleskine to support this initiative.

As part of the launch campaign:
• Donors contributing $100+ will receive a limited-edition Moleskine notebook signed by Andrew Aldrin
• Only 53 signed notebooks will be available
• The first 10 schools purchasing a Giant Moon Map™ will receive 20 complimentary copies of Welcome to the Moon by Buzz Aldrin
• The first school purchase will additionally receive 20 complimentary Moleskine notebooks

This initiative reflects our mission to inspire the Artemis Generation through immersive, standards-aligned STEM experiences that connect classrooms with the future of space exploration.

Distribution begins July/August 2026.

You do NOT need to be a genius to build a satellite.
You just need curiosity. 🛰️

S-Cubed helps Texas students:
✅ Learn code interfacing
✅ Build real satellite systems
✅ Work with live hardware
✅ Launch a simulated space mission
✅ Send payloads to the edge of space
✅ Analyze real mission data

Year 1 starts with exploration and hands-on learning.
Year 2 pushes students into advanced engineering, ethics, mission prep, payload testing, and competition.

No experience required.
Just curiosity.

Texas schools — this is your sign to launch something bigger. 🚀

🚀 From Apollo to Artemis… what a time to be inspired. 🌕✨

Welcome home to the Artemis II crew—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen. Your successful journey around the Moon and safe return to Earth marks a historic milestone, carrying forward the legacy of Apollo while opening the door to a bold new era of exploration.

As we celebrate this incredible achievement, we also recognize the hundreds of thousands of engineers, scientists, mission controllers, and support teams who made this mission possible. This is teamwork on a global scale.

For students watching, this isn’t just history—it’s a call to action.
This mission is proof of what’s possible—and a glimpse into the lunar workforce of the future! 👩‍🚀

🌕 In celebration of this new era, the Aldrin Family Foundation is proud to introduce our NEW Giant Moon Map.

Featuring:
✨A detailed topographical view of the Moon’s surface
📚 Updated graphics aligned to education standards
🛰️ A timeline connecting Apollo to Artemis

This map invites students to explore the past, understand the present, and imagine their place in the future of space exploration.

Because the next giant leap starts in the classroom.

And there’s more to come… stay tuned for an exclusive signed gift in collaboration with Moleskine in the coming weeks! 🎁

Be part of the journey—the future of space is just getting started.
