A message from Radiant Health Senior Director of HR, Staci Wilkinson:
With the help of an incredible committee, I had the privilege of planning Radiant Health’s Recharge & Rise at the Performing Arts Center in Gas City.
The goal was pretty simple: take a day to pour back into the people who spend so much of their time pouring into others.
We were lucky to hear from Aaron Lane, MSOL, LSW and Janell Lane, MA, LMHC with Courageous Living, LLC. They brought so much energy, encouragement, and perspective to the day. They’re not only doing incredible, life-changing work, but they’re genuinely incredible people.
We laughed (and definitely sang a little) during Don’t Forget the Lyrics, got to know our Chief Team a little differently during a fun Q&A hosted by Jason Carpenter with DJ Sound Solution, and, most importantly, took time to celebrate the people who show up every day and live out Radiant Health’s mission and values.
There were a LOT of moving pieces behind the scenes, plenty of laughs, a few “are we really going to pull this off?” moments 😂, and a whole lot of heart that went into making the day happen.
And honestly, pouring into people is one of my favorite parts of being in HR.
I love creating opportunities for people to feel appreciated, encouraged, seen, and reminded that what they do matters. Especially in the work our teams do every day, it can be easy to focus on the next need, the next challenge, or the next person who needs us and forget to pause and recognize the people doing the work.
I’m incredibly grateful to work alongside a team that believes our people matter. Culture doesn’t happen because of one event or one person. It’s built in the everyday moments, the way we show up for each other, and the choices we make to invest in our people.
Recharge & Rise was a good reminder that sometimes we need to pause, refill our own cups, celebrate one another, and then rise back up ready to keep doing the work that matters.
My heart is full. ❤️
