🇨🇴 Colombia Update: Thank you ministry supporters!

After the 7.4-magnitude earthquake recorded in Colombia in early August, our WGM team has been hard at work to provide relief kits to those in severely affected areas.

But the work isn’t finished. Continue praying for those affected by the earthquake and for WGM missionaries providing relief to remain safe. Also, pray that Jesus will clearly be seen in and through the team as they distribute the donations.

Last month in a classroom in Honduras, Angie, the librarian behind Lucy's Libros, showed up with a fresh shipment of books for students.

📚 Access to these new books was an answer to prayer because it would open up new learning opportunities for the students and resources for the teachers.

The teacher rejoiced at the new shipment, knowing that a small collection of books would ultimately expand these children’s worldviews.

Steve and Kelly Solheim are trusting God to keep providing more books as they continue expanding this ministry and sharing the love of Jesus.

One young father in Colombia had just received a stomach cancer diagnosis when the earthquake struck. After being discharged from the hospital during the emergency response, he returned home to find that his apartment building had been evacuated because of earthquake damage.⁠

His story is one of many our teams are encountering as they assess needs and care for families affected by the disaster.⁠

The need remains urgent.⁠
