🌱 The garden is thriving… and so are the w**ds! 🌱

Good news: the lettuce is officially ready to harvest! 🥬✨

Come pick yourself a fresh, homegrown salad and enjoy the fruits (and vegetables 😉) of our community’s hard work. Please stay within the 3 boxes marked with The Hub’s logo.

While you’re here, we’d love an extra set of hands. Whether you have 5 minutes or an hour, there’s always something to do—pull a few w**ds, water a bed, or simply enjoy the space with us.

🌿 No experience needed.
🌿 No sign-up required.
🌿 Everyone is welcome.

Many hands make light work, and every w**d pulled helps keep fresh food growing for our community. Stop by, grab some lettuce, and help us keep this beautiful garden thriving! 💚🥬🌻

Another successful rehab transport for The Hub. ❤️

This journey has been especially meaningful because this individual has been showing up since we opened—sometimes still drinking, but continuing to come through our doors anyway. Over the weeks, we’ve shared coffee, a meal, conversations, reassurance, and information about what the recovery process can look like. Most importantly, we simply kept showing up.

Today, during our open hours, that person walked in and said they were ready to go to detox.

One of our amazing volunteers was available to help with transportation. Although detox beds were full tonight, one of our incredible community partners stepped in to help navigate insurance requirements, additional transportation and secure placement at a 28-day inpatient treatment program with an available bed.

This is what community recovery looks like.

No single person or organization makes these moments happen. It takes volunteers, treatment providers, recovery supports, community partners, and people willing to believe in someone long before they’re ready to believe in themselves.

Every piece of the recovery puzzle matters.

Our web of support continues to grow, and together we are helping save lives right here in Grant County. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, answer the phone, offer encouragement, provide resources, and walk alongside people when they’re ready to take that next step.

Recovery is possible. One person, one conversation, and one opportunity at a time. 💙

📢 The Hub is Expanding Support Availability! 💜

Beginning this week, The Hub will be offering peer support and resource navigation during our open daily hours, Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM until the start of the last scheduled meeting of the day.

Whether you’re looking for recovery resources, community connections, information about treatment options, housing support, employment resources, or simply someone to sit down and talk with, we’re here to help.

Because The Hub is entirely volunteer-driven, this availability will be provided on a volunteer basis. If you have a heart for helping others and would like to become one of the community members available as a resource during open hours, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out and we’ll get you added to the calendar.

As we grow into this new phase, we ask for a little grace. There may be occasional days when volunteer availability doesn’t allow us to remain open during all posted hours. We are learning, adapting, and building this together.

We are incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up for one another. Every volunteer, every donation, every meeting attendee, and every person willing to share their experience, strength, and hope helps make this vision possible.

Together, we’re creating a place where no one has to navigate life’s challenges alone. 💜

🍽️ HELP FUEL RECOVERY – SPONSOR A MEAL, CHANGE A LIFE!

Every Monday at 5:00 PM, individuals in recovery gather at The Hub for SMART Recovery meetings. These meetings provide support, encouragement, and practical tools for building a healthier future.

One simple way you can make a difference is by sponsoring a meal for a meeting. A shared meal creates connection, reduces barriers to attendance, and reminds participants that their community cares about their recovery journey.

Whether you’re a local business, organization, church, family, or individual, your support can have a direct impact on someone working toward lasting change.

🎉 Another reason to celebrate at The Hub! 🎉

This week, thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers and the power of community partnerships, we were able to help facilitate two more successful transfers into rehabilitation services for members of our unhoused population right here in Grant County.

These victories are about so much more than transportation or paperwork. They represent hope, second chances, and the courage to take the next step toward a healthier future.

The Hub is entirely volunteer-run, and moments like these are only possible because of the compassionate people who show up day after day to serve others. Whether you're making coffee, leading meetings, answering phone calls, offering encouragement, or helping connect people to resources, you are making a real difference in our community.

Every person matters. Every success story matters. Every step forward matters.

Thank you to our volunteers, community partners, and supporters who continue to believe that recovery is possible and that everyone deserves a chance to heal.

💙 Together, we're building hope in Grant County, one person at a time.
