The finished piece! Tashema Davis, we can't possibly thank you enough for helping bring this space alive for the families that we serve at First Light. You are amazing and your work is outstanding! We won't stop talking about you anytime soon, that is for sure!

If you, your family, your church, or your business, etc. are looking for some custom artwork, why not support a local artist. We highly recommend Tashema Davis. She is beyond talented, very personable, easy to work with, timely, and efficient, etc.

The Family Room at FLCAC is getting a facelift, thanks to grant monies. We started with the showstopper first and couldn't be happier with the results! Local artist, Tashema Davis, took Janet's idea and made it a reality. In just three short days, Tashema adorned the main wall with this beautiful mural for all of the children and families that walk through our doors to admire and enjoy. Take a look at these pictures of the work in progress.

There are several key benefits to donating to a nonprofit organization, like First Light Child Advocacy Center.

According to research, these benefits include:

Personal Well-Being - Donating increases happiness, fosters satisfaction, decreases feelings of loneliness, & promotes emotional well-being.

Greater Social Impact - Nonprofits effectively address complex problems. Donations support sustainable, long-term missions rather than just short-term relief.

Community Improvement - Nonprofits work to improve local services and expand access to programs for those that are in need.

Encouraging Positive Social Behavior - Acts of giving create a ripple effect of kindness by inspiring others to give.

First Light is thankful for all of those in the community, and beyond, that support the mission of the CAC. We appreciate every donation, big or small, that we receive. Everyone that makes a monetary donation or donates goods, needs to know that they are making a positive difference in the lives of children that are struggling because of sexual or physical abuse or neglect. First Light staff couldn't continue to bring hope and healing to these children and their families without our donors, so THANK YOU!

If you are interested in knowing more about the needs of FLCAC or how you or someone you know could make a donation, please feel free to contact us at 765-668-8082. We welcome donations from individuals, families, churches, schools, social groups, businesses, etc. Are you or someone you know wanting to organize a community service project and want to positively impact the lives of children? If so, consider First Light Child Advocacy Center.

Pictured below are items we received from one of our donors, Sandy & Bernie Anderson, this week. Many of us take these kinds of items for granted, but the kids that we see at the CAC are beyond excited to get these personal hygiene items to call their own. Thank you, Sandy & Bernie, and all of our donors, for the way you support First Light and the child victims of abuse.
