For over 35 years we’ve supported one of the fastest growing, top quality school districts in Iowa.

The Linn-Mar School Foundation strengthens our community by partnering with businesses and individuals to raise, steward and distribute funds, thereby enhancing educational excellence for present and future Linn-Mar students. The Linn-Mar School Foundation a non-profit organization founded in 1985, raises private funds for K-12 public education in the Linn-Mar Community School District. With the support of our giving community, the Foundation helps ensure that Linn-Mar’s tradition of excellence extends into the 21st century with innovative new programs and measurable success in fundamental curriculum areas. With the support of corporate and private donors, the Foundation builds general, endowed and designated funds for innovative, effective educational programs throughout the district. Gifts to the Foundation qualify for tax deductions and matching corporate contributions.

And that’s a wrap on Dine Out! ❤️

We did a whole lot of Dining Out today and had the best time doing it! We loved making the rounds, visiting our restaurant partners, and catching up with familiar Linn-Mar faces along the way.

But we know we only saw a small piece of it! To everyone who grabbed a coffee, met a friend for lunch, picked up dinner, or stopped for a treat (or two!), thank you for making Dine Out part of your day.

And, of course, a huge thank you to our fantastic restaurant partners for welcoming our community and generously supporting students in both the Linn-Mar and Marion Independent school districts.

Thank you for Dining Out with us! 🍦❤️

🥤 Wait a second... haven't we seen him somewhere else today?

Just a short time after spotting him at Jersey Mike's, we ran into Boulder Peak Intermediate Associate Principal Duane Orr again, this time at NutriSport & Smoothie!

Considering Duane's role as head coach of the Linn-Mar varsity football team, a stop at NutriSport & Smoothie seemed like a natural fit. 💪 As it turns out, he's pretty handy behind the blenders, too!

A big thank you to the NutriSport team for their support of Dine Out for Our Schools. Need an afternoon pick-me-up after practice or on your way to an evening activity? NutriSport is participating in Dine Out through 8:00 p.m!

🥪 The Dine Out sightings continue!

This time, we found not one, but two familiar faces: Associate Superintendent Chad Lang and Boulder Peak Intermediate Associate Principal Duane Orr were bussing tables and greeting customers at Jersey Mike's Subs in Marion!

A big thank you to the Jersey Mike's team for their continued support of Dine Out for Our Schools and for welcoming us during today's lunch rush.

Didn't Dine Out over lunch? Jersey Mike's is participating all day long, so there's still plenty of time to grab dinner and support local students.

🍗 Who's hungry for lunch?

We just spotted Linn-Mar High School Associate Principal Zach Mixdorf at Chick-fil-A Lindale, where he traded the school hallways for the lunch rush and helped welcome customers during Dine Out for Our Schools.

A big thank you to the Chick-fil-A team for having Zach behind the scenes during one of the busiest times of the day.

Missed the lunch crowd? Chick-fil-A is serving up support for local students through dinner! Be sure to mention Dine Out for Our Schools!

Stay tuned... we may run into a few more familiar faces before the day is over! 👀

☕ It's Dine Out Day!

We kicked things off at Marion's Uptown Coffee Company this morning, where we spotted Wilkins Elementary School Principal Amanda Potter stepping behind the counter to welcome customers and help brew up support for local students.

A big thank you to the Uptown team for their support of Dine Out for Our Schools and for welcoming us this morning. We couldn't have asked for a better first stop, especially with their new fall menu launching today!

Amanda's Order: An iced "She's Married to the Muffin Man" latte (plus donuts to share with the fantastic Wilkins Elementary staff!).

We'll be making more stops throughout the day... stay tuned to see who else we run into! 👀

🎉 Thanks to this community, we had three very special stops to make today! 🎉

In just 24 hours, you shared more than 150 five-star reviews recognizing educators who have made a difference for Linn-Mar students and families. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share a review - we loved reading your stories, memories, and messages.

Today, we had the opportunity to celebrate the three educators selected from your nominations:

🍎 Christy Ness — Novak Elementary
🍎 Renee Telsrow — Boulder Peak Intermediate
🍎 Angela White — Linn-Mar High School

This morning, we teamed up with Dr. Nathan Wear, Superintendent of Linn-Mar Community School District, to surprise Christy, Renee, and Angela at their schools and share some of the kind words written about them by our community.

These surprises were made possible thanks to the generosity of four of our Dine Out partners: Culver's of Marion, The Freeze, Jersey Mike's Subs - Marion, and Zio Johno's Marion. Together, they helped us create special gift packages to celebrate these educators and the difference they make each day. ❤️
