We are so excited to be celebrating a very incredible lady as your volunteer spotlight of the week!

Meet Chrys English!!

When asked why she volunteers with FLY, Chrys responded,
"I do it to give back to the community. I think it's important to help those who are less fortunate, so I try to do my part. And the people I get to meet. That is my favorite part, honestly. The people who work here are awesome. Come hang out with us we have fun!"

It's time to celebrate an incredible family of volunteers for this week's spotlight!

Marilyn and her grandchildren, David (16), Anna (15), and Michael (13) have been volunteering together for many years! We love when those young and young at heart come and help us make the world a better place!

When asked why they do FLY, David, Anna, and Michael responded:

“You get to help people get food who wouldn’t have it without us. We are feeding the hungry as Jesus said to. We love working with our siblings; it brings us closer together when we get to help other kids in our community”.

Marilyn responded:

“Glad to help those who wouldn’t get much and are in need. My grandkids enjoy doing this and helping out, plus it gives them something to do, and they will do it. I feel proud of them for wanting to help those in need”.

Thank you so much for your dedication! We couldn’t do this without you! You are all very much worth celebrating! Help us thank them in the comments!

We are so excited to be sharing our beautiful campus with Vacation Bible School this week! It has been so fun to see and hear the love of God through our hallways!

FLY is still busy at work this week, so if you come visit us, make sure to sign in and get a FLY name tag so we can keep our environment safe and fun for everyone!

VBS is generously using their "waterfall" to raise money for FLY! Thank you for everyone's help! Please continue to interact with us on social media, tell your friends about us, and most importantly, sign up to volunteer! We cannot wait to meet you!

We were so grateful to have the Marion Methodist Staff come together to help us prepare lunches today! One of our most fun and productive days yet!

We shared a special moment today, coming together to pray over this program, the incredible hands that make it possible, and the children we are serving!

Our goal is to fill bellies and share God's love, and we definitely achieved that goal today! Thank you, Marion Methodist Staff; we hope you will come back soon!

Happy Week Two!!!

We are so excited to celebrate our first volunteer spotlight! We will be praising one of our incredible volunteers each week!

Long standing volunteer, and member of our board…

Kay Stanford!

When asked what her favorite part about FLY is Kay replied;

“The kids. You go to the same spot, ask them questions, and really get to know them. They are all very polite, and if their parents stop by they are so polite too. Connection with the kids is why we do this, making sure they get at least one meal a day. Thats why I do it, for the kids and serving our community, serving the lord, and doing what we are supposed to”.

Thank you for your dedication Kay! We couldn’t do this without you!
Follow along to see next weeks volunteer spotlight!
