Earlier this month the Kare-Bear team was able to spend some time with the wonderful ladies from the Mark Harrison Cancer Foundation, an organization that provided support to Kari during her illness. It was an honor to meet them and be able to donate to their organization.

They were one of two foundations and eight individuals that the Kare Bear Foundation was able to give to at Christmas with total gifts of over $12,000.00.

We are grateful for the outpouring of support from individuals and businesses, which has enabled us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to all who have contributed to the foundation over the past year, allowing us to create a lasting legacy in Kari's name.

Additionally, we are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Kare Bear Golf Outing, scheduled for June 8th at Saddleback Country Club in Solon. We invite you to participate in various capacities, including hole sponsorship, donating items for the silent auction, volunteering, or registering a team for golf.

Christmas was Kari’s favorite holiday, and honoring her spirit of giving means everything to us.
In our first year, the Kare-Bear Foundation was able to give over $12,000 in cash and gifts to eight individuals and two local charities. This incredible impact was only possible because of your generosity and support.

The first year of the Kare-Bear Foundation was a huge success. We are excited to share that the golf outing will return in 2026, along with a new event currently in the planning stages.

Thank you for honoring such an amazing woman and for your continued support of her memory and our mission to help people whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

We are thrilled with the outcome of yesterday's event! Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the golfers, volunteers, hole sponsors, donors, Fridas, Saddleback Ridge Golf Course, and Good Vibes Cafe, whose collective efforts made the event a resounding success. In the coming weeks, we will post more photos and videos, so please check back soon. Furthermore, we will select our first three recipients, who will receive support in their fights against cancer, with donations to follow.
