Our own Marlon Anderson — Prattville native, Co-Founder of the Marlon & Marcus Foundation, and 12-year MLB veteran — has been selected by Major League Baseball to COACH at the 2026 HBCU Swingman Classic! ⚾️

He's one of only 10 former Major League players chosen leaguewide to coach during MLB All-Star Weekend, joining the American League staff under manager Rickie Weeks.

From Prattville High School... to a 12-year MLB career... to a bat in the National Baseball Hall of Fame... to now shaping the next generation of HBCU student-athletes on a national stage — this is a full-circle moment we couldn't be prouder to celebrate.
