The Score for Kid’s Foundation, established in 2010, is a 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to fight childhood obesity and promote health and fitness for underprivileged and at risk children. Through training and mentoring, our organization offers its participants a positive learning environment, enhanced with successful team building experiences. h, physical, and emotional development is laid at an early age. Hence our organization strives to strengthen and empower at-risk children through awareness, early intervention, and programs that support the social-emotional wellness and growth of the youngest, most vulnerable children in our community. Secure, stable, supportive relationships between children and caring adults in the family and community contribute significantly to a child’s healthy development. These factors, in collaboration with healthy eating habits and regular physical activity play a substantial part in preventing chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and stroke. It is our mission to spread awareness and reach as many children in need as possible.
