The Anna Maria Avery Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization which has been created to inspire, educate and assist those families cope that have children that have been diagnosed with Type I Diabetes.

AMAF was founded by Alvin Avery in 2014. At a young age, Alvin suffered the loss of his mother as a result of Diabetes. This loss would impact Alvin and his life forever. Since this very traumatic event took place when he was a young child, Alvin set out to touch the youth that may be impacted by this disease. In an effort to offer resources, assistance and education to youth and they families that have Type I Diabetes.
