On behalf of the men and women of the Marietta Fire Department, and the Marietta Firefighter Support Fund, we extend our deepest condolences to the members of Rockdale County Fire Rescue, as well as Firefighter Smith's family, friends, and loved ones.

We honor the dedication, courage, and selfless service of our fallen brother. His commitment to protecting others and serving his community will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those grieving this tremendous loss. May they find strength in one another and comfort in the lasting legacy of a life devoted to service.

The Marietta Fire Department is proud to once again host the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Join us as we come together to Honor. Remember. Never Forget. 🇺🇸🔥

Every step is a tribute to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and civilians who lost their lives, as well as those who continue to serve in their memory.

Incredibly honored to have been chosen as one of the many deserving recipients of a $15,000 donation from the North Georgia State Fair.

It is inspiring to see the amount of impact has within Cobb County through their donations to non-profits as well as their scholarships given to the amazing and impressive high school graduates.

This year's fair is going to be amazing as we celebrate 250 years of America!

✔️ It’s okay to talk about stress, anxiety, and trauma
✔️ Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness
✔️ Checking in on your brothers and sisters matters
✔️ No firefighter should fight battles alone

To the members of the Marietta Fire Department and first responders everywhere — thank you for what you carry for our community every single day.

Let’s continue building a culture where asking for help is encouraged, peer support is valued, and mental wellness is treated just as importantly as physical safety.
