✨ Board Member Highlight ✨

Meet Tina, a dedicated advocate, community leader, and valued member of the Freedom 4/24 Board.

Tina’s connection with Freedom 4/24 began in 2019 after participating in the R4TL's 5K. What started as a meaningful experience quickly grew into a passion for human trafficking prevention and awareness.

Through her leadership with the Lynchburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tina helped support anti-human trafficking efforts through sponsorships, volunteerism, and community advocacy before officially joining the board in 2025.

With a background in mental health and community services, Tina brings a compassionate perspective focused on prevention, education, and supporting vulnerable communities.

Outside of her board role, Tina is passionate about serving others and believes creative arts have the power to heal and connect people.

We are grateful for Tina’s leadership and commitment to prevention education. 💙

During Foster Care Awareness Month, we want to thank the social workers, organizations, foster parents, and caregivers who continue to pour love, support, and care into children in the foster care system.

Keeping children safe is a shared responsibility, and we’re grateful for the people who show up every day to provide stability, encouragement, and protection for vulnerable youth.

At Freedom 4/24, we also believe prevention education matters. Supporting caregivers with tools and knowledge can help children stay safer from trafficking and exploitation before it begins.

A vulnerability is anything that can make someone more at risk of harm or exploitation, and predators often look for your vulnerabilities as a way to manipulate and exploit.

Today is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. We stand in support of Indigenous communities across the country.
