🚴♀️ WHEEL POWER Mission Trip – Update #1
Greetings from sunny Florida, my dear friends! ☀️
It's hard to believe we've been on the road for a week! I could write a book about all that has happened already, but I'll spare you the book and share a few highlights instead!
🙏 TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – FOUR WONDERFUL DAYS!
Enjoyed precious fellowship with many dear friends.
Shared about WHEEL POWER Christian Cyclists in a senior Sunday School class.
The church showed my recent TV interview during the Sunday morning service.
Sunday evening, I shared a message from Luke 15:8–9 about the lost coin and the incredible salvation story of Ray, a 72-year-old crossing guard.
Ray's brother had prayed for his salvation for over 15 years before passing away. God arranged a meeting at Ray's crossing guard station, where I shared the Gospel with him, and Ray accepted Jesus as his Savior! What a privilege to be an answer to his brother's faithful prayers!
❤️ A REMINDER TO ALL OF US: Every person we meet is someone's loved one—and perhaps someone has been praying for their salvation for years! Our conversation could be the next step in bringing them to Jesus.
🚴♀️ MORE DIVINE APPOINTMENTS ALONG THE WAY!
· ❤️ A Special Encounter at the Campground: Early this morning, I met a woman in the ladies’ room as she was getting ready for the day. What began as a simple conversation about our families turned into a special opportunity to share God's love. She told me her family had enjoyed an annual October Disney vacation for many years, but her mother had passed away just four months ago. They decided to continue their treasured family tradition in her memory. As we talked, I shared about losing my own parents and three siblings, and how my faith in Jesus has sustained me through those losses.
Later that evening, I visited her campsite and had the joy of meeting her dad and husband. We enjoyed more wonderful conversations and fellowship!
I've discovered that campgrounds are wonderful mission fields! You never know how God might use a simple conversation to open someone's heart to His love, comfort, and hope.
Disney Welcome Center: Five employees listened as I shared my brief salvation testimony and ONE MILLION MILE journey. Each received a Gospel tract, cross penny and link, and Million-Mile flyer!
A Special Marine Family: On a boat ride, I met a retired Marine and police officer, his wife, and their two sons. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation about life, faith, and purpose.
Six Young Cyclists at Fort Wilderness: After seeing children riding their bicycles WITH HELMETS, I stopped to compliment them! That opened the door to a delightful 30-minute conversation with three camping families. I shared my cycling story, Million-Mile Mission, and faith. What a blessing to discover they were fellow believers! The children received cross pennies and Gospel materials. After praying for the families, I rode away honking my bicycle horn and calling out, "God bless you!"
✝️ THE GREATEST MISSION OF ALL!
Yes, I'm pedaling toward ONE MILLION LIFETIME BICYCLE MILES and a Women's World Record, but the greatest accomplishment isn't the miles or the record.
It's reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ!
My encouragement to you: Look for opportunities to start conversations, share your faith, and tell someone about Jesus. You never know whose prayers God may be answering through YOU!
