A pretty great way to spend a Thursday evening.

Last night’s 5:35 at Putt Putt Fun Center was all about good people, good conversations, and a little putt putt, laser tag, and arcade fun mixed in.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun night. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Coming up with YPCV:
• October 6 — Professional Development Lunch with Cale Edgerly
• October 8 — 5:35 at Old City Cemetery

A date change so you can maximize your professional development!

Our YPCV Professional Development Lunch with Cale Edgerly is moving to October 6!

We know many of our YPs are also interested in Fueling Your Race: A One-Day Leadership Conference, presented by Leadership Lynchburg and Impact2Lead, so we’re adjusting our date to make it possible for you to attend both.

Fueling Your Race
September 15 | A one-day leadership experience designed to help you thrive in the race of life and leadership.

YPCV Professional Development Lunch
October 6 | Failing Forward: Little Things Matter with Cale Edgerly, President & CEO of Sonny Merryman

Register for both at YPCV.org/events.

We hope this date change gives you the opportunity to make the most of both leadership experiences!

From making connections to finding a seat at the table. 💙

SHARE Greater Lynchburg hosted a Nonprofit Board of Directors Meet & Greet at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance in partnership with YPCV. Through a speed networking format, young professionals connected with local nonprofits to explore board openings and other meaningful ways to consistently engage with their missions.

For many of these young professionals, this event marked the final activity in SHARE’s Nonprofit Board Matching Program before their graduation ceremony in September. The goal is to turn these connections into successful matches and see these emerging leaders officially join local nonprofit boards.

A huge thank you to the amazing partners of the YP Board Matching Program: Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation, Central Virginia Academy for Nonprofit Excellence (CVANE), United Way of Central Virginia, and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

We’re excited to see where these connections lead and can’t wait to celebrate these future nonprofit board leaders in September! 🎉
