We’re so excited for you to get to know Miss Kaycee, one of the bright, dedicated members of our CDC team. We’re so grateful to have her with us.

Kaycee comes from a close-knit family with a sister and a brother, and when she’s not in the classroom, you can usually find her at the racetrack or working on race cars — her favorite hobby. She loves BBQ chicken wings, and her favorite part of being on the CDC team is watching children reach their milestones and supporting kids with developmental disabilities as they grow.

Her favorite memory from the 2025–2026 program year was graduation day — celebrating our students as they took that big step into kindergarten.

Thank you, Miss Kaycee, for all you do for the Children’s Developmental Center.
We can’t wait to begin the 2026–2027 program year with you on our team.

Congratulations to the Luersman family on the adoption of Emery and his siblings! Emery is one of our past students! One big, happy, beautiful family!!

Please join us in congratulating Gabriel (front middle), Emery (back next to judge) and Rayla who found permanency through adoption today. Bill and Keri Luersman adopted the three during a hearing today in Allen County Probate Court giving the children a forever home. Congratulations to the Luersman family!

We are excited to share some wonderful news with our CDC family and community!

The Children's Developmental Center has been awarded a generous $20,000 grant from the John Henry Eldred Jr Foundation in support of our Student Education Fund and the programming expenses for our Developmental Preschool Services program.

This incredible gift helps ensure that children with developmental needs can continue receiving high-quality, play-based early learning experiences - regardless of a family's ability to pay. It strengthens our mission, supports our teachers, and directly impacts the growth and success of the children we serve each day.

We are deeply grateful to the John Henry Eldred Jr Foundation for believing in our work and investing in the future of our students and families. Their partnership truly makes a difference.

Thank you for helping us continue building strong foundations for little learners across our community.
