We’ve seen some comments and concerns about Warriors Way using AI to help create flyers and promotional materials, so we wanted to address it openly.
Warriors Way typically creates 5–10 different flyers and promotional graphics for each major event, and we generally have 3–5 major events throughout the year.
That means we may need anywhere from 15–50 different promotional graphics each year.
Having those professionally designed can reasonably cost $150–$300 per flyer, depending on the design and revisions.
That means replacing the tools we currently use with paid professional graphic design could cost Warriors Way approximately $2,250–$15,000 per year.
As a nonprofit, we have to ask ourselves a pretty simple question:
Is that where the people who support our mission want their donations going?
We would rather spend those dollars on steel, propane, equipment, classes, facility expenses, and providing FREE programs for Veterans, First Responders, and Youth.
AI doesn't replace our mission. It doesn't teach our classes. It doesn't forge the knives. It doesn't sit down with a Veteran who's struggling.
It's simply a tool we use to help keep our overhead down.
That being said, if you strongly believe Warriors Way should hire a graphic designer instead of using AI, we respect that.

Until then, we're going to continue using the tools available to us to stretch every donated dollar as far as possible and keep our focus where it belongs:
on the people we serve.
