West Ohio CAP We are a community action agency serving Allen, Auglaize and Mercer Counties in Ohio. We strive to improve the lives of low income families.

West Ohio Community Action Partnership is the designated Community Action Agency for Allen, Auglaize and Mercer Counties in Ohio. WOCAP provides programming to help low to moderate income individuals and families improve their situation. Some of the programs WOCAP offers include Head Start and Early Head Start, Parenting, Home Energy Assistance (HEAP), Homeownership, Financial Management, Fair Housing, Lead Abatement and Home Repair.

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible youth group at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Celina for turning their VBS theme, “Avalanche of Love,” into meaningful action!

Through their VBS, the youth raised funds to assemble 100 care bags for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Of those, 50 bags were generously donated to WOCAP to distribute to those in need throughout our communities.

Each bag is filled with essential items, including a water bottle, T-shirt, hat, gloves, soap, deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene products, and toilet paper.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, compassion, and heart these young people have shown. Their kindness is a wonderful reminder that small acts of love can make a big difference. ❤️

Thank you, St. John’s Lutheran Church Youth Group, for helping bring an Avalanche of Love to our communities! 🙌
