Since the local organization’s inception in 1918, The United Way of Greater Lima has aimed to meet the needs of area wide individuals and families through education, financial stability and the promotion of healthy living.

💙 Thank you to Perry ProTECH for welcoming us this morning for their United Way of Greater Lima Allen County employee campaign meeting!

We were excited to have Britt Munson talk to us about the Veterans Freedom Flag Monument and share about their mission and the meaningful work they do to honor our veterans.

We are incredibly grateful for Perry ProTECH’s partnership and all they do to support United Way and our community! Thank you for helping make a difference right here in Allen County!

💙A great morning at Lima Memorial Health System!

Today was their first internal Champion meeting as they get ready to kick off their United Way campaign!

We are so grateful for Lima Memorial's continued support and the people who help make these campaigns possible! Together, we are making a difference right here in Allen County! 💙

🎓 Student United Way is underway!

We have partnered with Junior Achievement to launch our first Student United Way session! Local high school seniors from six area schools will learn about philanthropy, financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship while making a difference in Allen County.

Students will meet with local nonprofit organizations throughout the school year and decide how to distribute $5,000 to support organizations making an impact in our community! ❤️

Our first session included Soldiers of Honor, where students learned about boxing and building confidence.

We are excited to help develop the next generation of community leaders! 💙

❤️💙 A great start to the day at Rudolph Foods!

We had the opportunity to join their employees for workplace campaign meetings this morning! Jared from the Lima Family YMCA shared at the first meeting, and Portia with Big Brothers Big Sisters spoke at the second. Beca also shared about United Way and the impact we make together in our community.

We will be heading back to Rudolph Foods this afternoon to wrap up our day with another employee meeting featuring Aaron and Veronica from Soldiers of Honor!

A big thank you to Rudolph Foods for continuing to support United Way and giving our partner agencies the opportunity to share the incredible work they do in Allen County. Together, we are making a difference! ❤️
