Have you dedicated your business to the Lord?

You’ve put in the hours, made sacrifices, and poured your heart into building something. Have you taken time to place it in His hands?

Dedicating your business to God is a daily decision to let Him lead. It means seeking His wisdom before saying yes, being honest when cutting corners would be easier, and treating people with care—even when you’re under pressure.

It also means praying, “Lord, if something needs to change in the way I’m doing business, show me. Help me receive Your direction, even when it looks different from my plans.”

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

We are stewards of what He has entrusted to us. Our businesses can become places where people experience His kindness, generosity, and love through the way we serve.

If you’ve never prayed over your business or would like someone to stand alongside you in prayer, reach out to us at the WOCC. We would love to pray with you. 🙏

In a world full of quick fixes, quick money, and overnight success stories, waiting on God can feel like falling behind. But His timing is worthy of our trust—even in business.

“The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.”
— Lamentations 3:25–26

Maybe you’re waiting for direction, praying for the right opportunity, or wondering when the work you’ve poured your heart into will bear fruit. There is beauty in that waiting, even when it feels uncomfortable.

It draws us closer to the Lord. It teaches us to seek Him before making a decision, to rely on His wisdom beyond our own understanding, and to trust Him with the answers we don’t yet have.

Waiting on the Lord still leaves room for faithful action. Keep showing up. Serve people well. Steward what He has already placed in your hands. Pray over your plans, and let Him guide your next step.

Our businesses need more than our ambition; they need His direction. May we desire His presence as deeply as we desire progress, and trust His timing more than the pressure to hurry.

There is purpose in seeking Him through every season—including the wait. 🙏

Sometimes we can get so caught up in caring for everyone, growing a business, and keeping up with everyday life that our time with God becomes, “I’ll get to it when things settle down.”

And then tomorrow is just as full.

If that’s where you find yourself, take a breath. You can turn toward Him right in the middle of an unfinished day. You don’t have to catch up or find the perfect words.

Open your Bible before opening another app. Pray on your drive to work. Bring Him the decision you’ve been trying to figure out alone. Let there be moments in your day when you simply sit with Him, without an agenda.

The people and responsibilities entrusted to us matter deeply. Spending time with God helps us care for them with more patience, wisdom, and love.

Our prayer today: Lord, help us build lives that leave room to hear Your voice. Keep our hearts close to You as our schedules fill up. Teach us when to work, when to rest, and when to set something down. May we always make time for the One who gave us this life. 🤍

Help us cover our local businesses in prayer!

Behind every business is a person carrying responsibilities, making hard decisions, and facing challenges we may never see. We want our members to know they have people standing beside them and praying for them.

The West Ohio Christian Chamber is looking for people to join our prayer team! Opportunities include:

💙 Joining Monday morning prayer calls
💙 Visiting businesses in your county to welcome and pray with them
💙 Praying over and anointing businesses
💙 Lifting up our members, their families, and their ministries

You don’t need a title or the perfect words—just a willing heart and a desire to seek the Lord alongside others.

Would you help us build this foundation of prayer? Comment below or send us a message to get involved. We’d love to have you join us! 🙏

✨MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:

Mercy Unlimited, Inc. Matthew 25 Ministry & Thrift Store

Faith comes to life when we see a need and choose to do something about it. Since 1989, Mercy Unlimited has been serving the community as a Christian ministry rooted in Matthew 25—putting love for our neighbors into action.

We’re grateful to have them as part of the West Ohio Christian Chamber and thankful for their heart to serve families in our community. Their work is a beautiful reminder that sharing the love of Jesus can begin with meeting a practical need.

Stop in, browse their store, and learn more about how you can support their mission. Let’s encourage the ministries serving right here in our own communities! 🤍

📍 38 E. Auglaize St., Wapakoneta

Thank you, Mercy Unlimited, for being the hands and feet of Jesus!

10/26/2026

There’s peace in remembering that we’re trusting God with what already belongs to Him. 🤍

Our businesses, our gifts, our resources—everything we have is something He has entrusted to our care. We have a responsibility to steward it well, but we can release the worry of trying to control every outcome.

That trust also gives us room to be generous. To refer a customer to another business. To share what we’ve learned. To give our time, encourage someone starting out, and treat people with kindness even when there’s nothing to gain.

We can make decisions from faith instead of fear, asking, “Lord, how would You have me use what You’ve given me?”

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” —Psalm 24:1

May that truth shape how we lead, how we give, and how we do business. It’s already His. Let’s care for it with open hands.

10/25/2026

🙏 There is power in coming together in prayer.

Before we build, before we plan, before we do the work, we pray.

Join the West Ohio Christian Chamber every Monday at 8:00 AM for our virtual prayer meeting as we lift up the WOCC, our members, their businesses, and the communities we serve.

We believe prayer belongs at the foundation of everything we do. When we invite God into our work, we make room for His wisdom, direction, provision, and purpose.

You don’t have to be a member to pray with us. If you have a heart for Christian business, supporting others, and seeing God move in the marketplace, there’s a place for you here.

Let’s start the week united in faith and committed to lifting one another up. 💙
