Final day🥺🥹😳🎶🎭🥰🤯🔥Yes! All of that and so much more! The performances were outstanding! Still astonishing to me that by setting in motion the perfect storm of Talented adults who have a passion for music, storytelling, dance, and performance can impact the lives of kids they’ve never met and can produce dynamic, meaningful, beautiful theatrical experiences! Thank you, Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts for opening your program for us! I am forever grateful! And by the way, these students are especially wonderful!

Day 10! With Lovewell we learn to T the P (Trust the Process)! Today, we learned a lot about each one of us individually and as a group of theatric collaborators! With our incredible Lovewell Staff: JJ Parkey, Jacob Jeffries, and Lee Gilbert working tirelessly with our participants to demonstrate living the affirmations. The board of the Garden Theatre hosted our cast party, and attended the award ceremony. Two shows tomorrow! 🎶🎭🥳🥹🥹❤️

Day Eight and these students keep me in a state of amazement! They have been immersed in the Lovewell Method and have finished a moving, insightful, and impactful musical that will stun their audiences this Saturday! They worked from 9 this morning till 9 in the evening and never stopped smiling! Thanks to all the parents who believed in this program enough to allow your child to join us. They have each grown so much, and I am so proud to know them! 🎶🎭🤯🔥🥳

Day Seven: We experienced Lovewell affirmation number 5: “All my needs will always be supplied by my understanding of creativity.” It was a long day with wonderful consequences! A nearly finished script, the beginnings of a set, and those songs! Oh! And they performed the opening number for some board members! Choreography they just learned this morning! 🎶😳🤯🤯🔥🎭 Just 4 more days till we open! Stuck on Sweet Street: A Musical on Repeat!

Day Six! Are you kidding me!?!? This Lovewell experience is 🔥! Songs 🎶 Scripts🎭 choreography 🪩 and Title of Show! Plan to join us this Saturday afternoon for either the 1:00 or 4:00 show! The World premiere of the original production “Stuck on Sweet Street! A Musical on Repeat!”

Day Five is in the books! And just like that 🫰🏽the first week of Lovewell CBUS 2023 is over🤯. We witnessed so much of that creative collaboration through this incredibly talented group of students and the mind blowing skills of the Lovewell Staff. Today, we tightened up the timeline, solidified character backstories and almost selected a title. 🎭 Monday, we’ll create the rest of the story! Thank you, Dr. Derry Glenn for always supporting our children!
