Vision-Aid firmly believes that visually impaired children are one of the most significant beneficiaries of Vision Rehabilitation programs. Many of our programs are especially tailored to focus on this vulnerable segment of under-served regions. Programs range from Vision Screening outreach in schools to comprehensive child vision rehabilitation programs at the center, where our trained Low Vision

Rehabilitation specialists work with children to help them cope with vision loss and regain their confidence and independence. Vision-Aid also keeps in touch with local school and district education officers to offer special education programs for school teachers to make them aware of how they can better help visually impaired children integrate into the classroom.

Vision-Aid is thrilled to announce the launch of its Intensive Residential Training Program in Digital Accessibility Testing in Chennai! This 3-month, full-time program is meticulously designed to equip a select group of candidates with the specialized skills needed to become job-ready professionals in the field of Digital Accessibility Testing with a placement support to deserving candidate.

Vision-Aid proudly celebrates the successful graduation of our Digital Accessibility Testing (DAT) and Customer Care Executive (CCE) batches at the Vision-Aid Advanced Training Centre, Chennai.

This special occasion marks the achievements of 11 dedicated graduates, including 5 DAT learners and 6 CCE learners, who have successfully completed their training and are now ready to step into promising career opportunities.

During Low Vision Awareness Month 2026, Vision-Aid collaborated with leading hospitals and organizations to promote greater awareness, early identification, and improved support for individuals with low vision. Through interactive sessions, community engagement, and professional discussions with institutions such as Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Aravind Eye Hospital, Sankara Nethralaya, and Infosys, these initiatives highlighted the importance of timely referral, rehabilitation services, and accessible support systems for people with visual impairment.

The activities also encouraged stronger collaboration between healthcare professionals, institutions, and communities to improve access to low vision care and rehabilitation services.

A proud milestone in the growing partnership between Vision-Aid and AIIMS, New Delhi. On 17 February 2026, at the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (Dr. R.P. Centre), AIIMS, 53 AI-powered Smart Vision Glasses were distributed to eligible individuals after thorough clinical screening and assessment.

This initiative, conducted in collaboration with Dr. RP centre, AIIMS, New Delhi; Rotary Club, District 3012 and SHG Technologies, reflects a shared commitment to making assistive technology accessible to those who need it the most. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Amita Mohindru, District Governor, Rotary District 3012; Mr. Gautam Bhargav from Rotary; Dr. Rajpal from AIIMS; and Dr. Praveen Vashisht, Head of Community Ophthalmology at Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS.

We are glad to announce that Vision-Aid has successfully launched its Digital Accessibility Testing Residential Program on 7th January at our Advance Training Centre, Chennai.

This inclusive initiative has brought together 8 talented candidates from 4 different states—Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana—creating a truly diverse learning environment.

The 3-month free residential program is designed to equip participants with in-demand digital accessibility testing skills, empowering them to build meaningful and sustainable careers. Deserving students will also receive placement assistance upon successful completion of the training, opening doors to new professional opportunities.

At Vision-Aid, we continue our mission to enable independence, inclusion, and equal opportunities through skill development and technology.
