Run or walk in-person on 1/10/26 or virtually 1/10/26-1/18/26. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the RR2KC donates proceeds from its annual 5K road race to organizations conducting innovative cancer research or providing patient support programs. A nice recap on why we come together every year!

On January 10, the streets of Lexington filled with 700 runners for the 17th Annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer, a 5k race including cancer survivors, family members and other supporters.

Thank you to the participants, volunteers, sponsors and donors who made the 17th annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer 5K a great success! We are grateful for everyone who supported the cause.

With today’s weather, winter running was not as hard as some years. It was great to see shorts and smiles on the course. Photos courtesy of John Gill are being posted in two 2026 albums on our page.

It is a great day for a 5K… in January! Registration for the 17th annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer starts at 9am and the run through historic Lexington starts at 11am. $45. Credit card or Apple Pay preferred. Stick around to enjoy post-race awards and food in the Lexington High School Field House.

The 17th Annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer 5K is on Saturday January 10, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K and Virtual 5K.
