We won't be dancing on the last three Mondays of December: 15, 22, and 29. On December 15 you might try the Christmas concert of the Center for Old Music in the New World. See their web site for details. Join us on again on January 5 to start 2026!

The Center for Old Music in the New World is a non-profit dedicated to live performance of early music in Lexington, KY.

We have big news to share! Starting Monday, March 3, the Lexington English Country Dancers are moving from Eastminster Presbyterian Church to Temple Adath Israel. The Temple is located at 124 North Ashland Avenue. We are still meeting on Monday nights from 7:00-8:30. We are excited about this move. It has plenty of free parking, is centrally located, and has plenty of dance space. In addition, the floor should be an improvement over the concrete floor on which we have been dancing.

If you are not familiar with the location, Ashland Avenue is located right off of East Main Street (which becomes Richmond Road as you go farther out of town). There is a Marathon Gas Station on the corner. Turn there and the Temple is on the right. You will need to call one of the phone numbers posted near the key pad and wait for someone to let you in.

We are asking for $3.00 per night to cover our expenses. Please bring your own water or soft drink. As usual, we will have live music!

We regret this, but we won't be able to dance today, Monday, February 17! We hope to be back next week, Monday, February 24!

The parking lot continues to be icy and there has been a boiler malfunction. We now hope we will resume dancing on Monday, February 3, 2025.

The parking lot hasn't been cleared so we won't be dancing on Monday, January 13. We hope to be back to normal on January 20.

Due to the inclement weather we won't be dancing on Monday, January 6. We hope to be back to normal on January 13.
