๐Ÿ“ฃ Do you have lived experience with the justice system?๐Ÿ“ฃ

๐Ÿ’™ Your voice, experience, and perspective matter. ๐Ÿ’™

PRCC is hosting a Justice Involved Advisory Councilโ€”creating space for people with lived experience and affected others to share their expertise, connect with others, and hear updates on the progress being made.

If this is something that speaks to you or someone you know, check out the flyer below for more information. Please feel free to share and help spread the word!

If you are justice-involved, have been in the past, or are an affected other; we invite you to join us this Thursday August 20 at 3:30 PM for our monthly Justice-Involved Advisory Council meeting.

Brandon Irwin from Cumberland County will be joining us to offer support, connect with the community, and answer questions. This is a welcoming space for conversation, connection, and sharing your voice.

We hope to see you there!

๐Ÿ’™ You donโ€™t have to do this alone.

Weโ€™re starting a new Affected Others Meeting for those whose lives have been impacted by a loved oneโ€™s substance use.

๐Ÿ’œ You don't have to carry this alone. ๐Ÿ’œ

When someone you love is struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), the entire family is affected.

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, child, friend, or loved one trying to help someone who is currently in active addictionโ€”or you're grieving the heartbreaking loss of someone to SUD or AUDโ€”you deserve support too.

๐Ÿค Connect with others who truly understand.

Our Families & Affected Others Group begins tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, from 6:00โ€“7:00 PM at the Josh Stevens Recovery Community Center.

This group is a safe and supportive space for anyone who has been impacted by a loved oneโ€™s substance use or alcohol use, whether your loved one is currently struggling, in recovery, or you are grieving someone you have lost.

You do not have to know what to say.
You do not have to have the answers.
And you do not have to walk through this alone. ๐Ÿ’œ

Come connect with others who understand, learn about addiction and recovery, find support, and begin taking care of you, too.

๐Ÿ“ธโœจ Community, connection, and continued advocacy for recovery!

Our Executive Director had the opportunity to attend the Opioid Summit 2026 in Bangor, joining community leaders, advocates, professionals, and community partners dedicated to addressing the opioid crisis and supporting recovery.

Weโ€™re grateful for opportunities like this to learn, connect, share ideas, and strengthen our commitment to our communities. ๐Ÿ’œ

Together, we can raise awareness, honor those weโ€™ve lost, support those in recovery, and continue working toward a healthier future.
