Be a Superhero for Halloween this year

We couldn’t resist the — or another chance to celebrate the real-life superheroes of recovery!

Certified Recovery Specialists (CRSs) have a superpower no costume can replicate: lived experience. They use it to offer hope, understanding, and guidance to others navigating recovery.

And we’re working to bring that superpower to more Pennsylvanians. The Shapiro Administration’s Behavioral Health Council Action Plan calls for expanding access to peer support in treatment, crisis response, and other services — while strengthening support for the professionals who provide it.
