The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic is Maine’s premier high school All-Star football game, showcasing over 140 of the state’s top graduating football players and cheerleaders from more than 60 schools. Each summer, the East and West teams face off at Don Roux Field in Lewiston for a week filled with training, camaraderie, and a thrilling game-day experience that caps off their high school athletic careers. Every player, coach, and cheerleader participates not only to compete, but to raise funds and awareness for Shriners Children’s, an organization dedicated to providing life-changing medical care to children, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Since its inception in 1990, the Lobster Bowl has raised nearly $750,000 to help support specialized pediatric care across a wide range of conditions including orthopedics, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. By blending athletic excellence with community impact, the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic continues to inspire, bringing people together from across the state to play for a cause — proving it’s More Than Just A Game.
