Welcome to the official page of the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic! But the Lobster Bowl is more than just a game — it’s a tradition with heart.

The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic is Maine’s premier high school All-Star football game, showcasing over 140 of the state’s top graduating football players and cheerleaders from more than 60 schools. Each summer, the East and West teams face off at Don Roux Field in Lewiston for a week filled with training, camaraderie, and a thrilling game-day experience that caps off their high school athlet

ic careers. Every player, coach, and cheerleader participates not only to compete, but to raise funds and awareness for Shriners Children’s, an organization dedicated to providing life-changing medical care to children, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Since its inception in 1990, the Lobster Bowl has raised nearly $750,000 to help support specialized pediatric care across a wide range of conditions including orthopedics, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. By blending athletic excellence with community impact, the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic continues to inspire, bringing people together from across the state to play for a cause — proving it’s More Than Just A Game.

All fundraising paperwork is due, including fundraising tracking forms and ads for print.

June 22nd
All fundraising money must be submitted.

Please make sure all forms are filled out completely and your name is clearly written on all of them.

🙌 We’ve got a new name at the top of the leaderboard.

Dawson Sukeforth (East | Bucksport) now leads the way with an incredible $8,122 raised, with Logan Vigue (East | Medomak) and others close behind as the competition continues to grow.

The momentum across all participants has been incredible. Over 2,000 supporters have already stepped up to be part of this, helping drive this year’s efforts forward in a big way.

Really great work by all of our participants putting in the time and effort to make this happen.

🙌 Celebrating Our Head Coaches for the 2026 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic!

This year, the East team is led by the esteemed Dan O’Connell from John Bapst High School. With a legacy spanning 23 years as a football coach and 17 times on the East Staff, Coach O’Connell's commitment is unwavering! 🏈

On the West side, we welcome back Joel Stoneton of Winthrop High School! With a rich history in the game — from playing in 1993 to leading as head coach since 2010 — Coach Stoneton champions excellence both on and off the field.

Together, they embody the passion and spirit of the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic. Here’s to an unforgettable year! 🙏
