We’ve been out in force across the state! From Portland to Lewiston to Unity, we truly thank everyone who has engaged with and supported our work.

Building social and racial equity for Black and immigrant communities is more important than ever. As Election Day approaches, we’re continuing to show up -from election events, tabling and voter registration to canvassing and the Common Ground Country Fair.

And we’re not slowing down!🤭

Want to get involved? Use the link in our bio to sign up for upcoming canvassing opportunities in Portland and Lewiston. Whether you can volunteer, canvass, help at an event, or support our work in another way, we’d love to have you join us.

We also look forward to seeing everyone at our concert this coming Saturday! We’re still looking for security and additional event support, so please reach out if you’re available to help.

Thank you for continuing to show up, engage, and build with us. We keep pushing forward together. ✊🏾

COA is hiring 2-4 Part-Time community organizers to support our 2026 voter engagement work in Maine!
Community Organizers will work directly with community members to increase voter participation, strengthen relationships with voters, recruit and engage volunteers, and ensure communities that are often overlooked by traditional campaigns have the information and support needed to participate in elections.

This is a field-focused position. Organizers should be comfortable talking with community members, canvassing, phone banking, building relationships, and working toward voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals.
