Learning and developing cooking skills is just one of the Life Skills New Beginnings' youth work on.

If anyone has easy (not Martha Stewart level) recipe cookbooks they'd like to donate, we would be super excited.

Since most share the dislike of dishwashing, one pot meal recipes would be amazing.

This event will be held from 4:30pm - 5:30pm, under the Hopeful sign on Main St (between Mill St and Lincoln St) in Lewiston.

New Beginnings' Warming Shelter is operating 7 nights a week from 8:00pm to 8:00am. Keeping young people (18-24) warm, safe and fed throughout the winter.

There are still young people who choose to stay outside over utilizing our Warming Shelter. For those young people, we want to be able to supply as many items as possible to keep them safe during cold winter nights.

The team is working with TD Bank to support a renovation project at New Beginnings in Lewiston. The nonprofit serves local homeless youth and families in crisis.

The community is invited to meet Maine Celtics players, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about New Beginnings’ work supporting young people experiencing homelessness. This free event highlights connection, youth empowerment, and the impact of local support!
