Rose had her first ever vet visit today and she did fantastic! She weighed in at just over 10 pounds, her exam was perfect, and blood was drawn. Unfortunately, Rose went into heat yesterday so her spay will be pushed off for a few weeks. While she has been here we found she loves all people and small dogs, is great in a car, great for grooming, walks on a leash, and is super high energy. She shows great potential for dog sports, is really smart, and is learning commands quickly. Rose is pretty perfect for an active home looking for a dog to be active with because she can literally go full speed all day long!

Welcome Rikki (10yo F ears up) and Bahama (9yo M) to Peace Love and Poms Rescue! This mother and son Pom Pug mix duo lost their momma a few weeks ago and needed a safe place to land so we made space. These two have been well cared for, but do need dentals and some ear care that will be costly. For now we are getting to know these precious souls, and they are settling right in! Welcome sweet babies!

Tortellini had his recheck today! His p**p is much better, but they drew some blood to make sure his lab values have all returned to normal. He is feeling so much and the vet was pleased to see him looking great again!
