Yesterday, CFBC hosted the first-ever Boone County Housing Forum at Hussey-Mayfield Public Library-Whitestown, convening housing resource providers from across the county.

The conversation centered on collaboration - sharing resources and referral processes as we work toward more accessible housing support for Boone County residents.

This is just the beginning of continued efforts to strengthen connections, and build a more informed and responsive housing landscape in our community.

Women of Impact Boone County came together last night for the 2026 Quarter 2 meeting at Golf Club of Indiana! 🌻 The members heard from three incredible nonprofits who are doing much needed work in our communities. Congratulations to Community Action of Greater Indianapolis for receiving the most votes from the WOI members, and receiving our second quarter grant of $13,141!

The other presenters, Black Box Theatre Company and Watch Us Farm, will both also receive a $1,000 CFBC grant thanks to the support of donors and sponsors.

Members also heard from 2025 second quarter grantee, The Cabin Counseling & Resource Center, Inc., about how they used their grant to support their Samaritan Fund - offering mental health resources at a reduced cost. Thank you to our WOI sponsors and host for a wonderful meeting!
