Feeding the Hungry in Boone County Indiana We are community of Volunteers that have pulled together to help fight hunger in Boone County, IN.

FREE Hot Homemade meals - The Shalom House serves free hot meals on Tuesdays (evenings 5-7) and Saturdays (11 - 1 ) at 304 W. Green Street, Lebanon Indiana. Shalom Kids' Sack Lunch program- The Lebanon Shalom House works together with local volunteer groups to distribute take home sack lunches for school age children in Boone County, Indiana during school vacations (Spring Break, Winter Break, Fal

l Break, and Summer Break). Any school age Boone County child that is in need of food is eligible for rhis program. When school is not in session can be a very hungry time for these children and a very financially difficult time for their parents. By providing each child with 5 sack lunches on each Monday of vacation, these children are able to enjoy school vacations with full stomachs. Shalom is always looking for volunteers (groups/clubs/organizations/families) to:
~Volunteers teams to serve meals on Saturdays
~Volunteers to serve meals on Tuesdays
~Help pack lunches before school vacations
~Share our information with families that may be in need of help fighting hunger
~Spiritually support Shalom via prayer and fellowship
~Financially help support Shalom via monetary contributions

Today! (June 6th) Come join us from 11-1 at The Shalom House (304 W. Green St.) We are serving FREE hot meals. Dine in, curbside, and walk up carry out are available. We are serving Taco casserole, chips n salsa, lettuce salad, fruit, and dessert while supplies last. (Menus are subject to substitutions) No call in deliveries available. Four meals maximum per car. Please remain in your car for curbside carry outs. If you have food needs beyond a meal for lunch today, we can refer you to a local food pantry that can help. We have a lot of new Free non perishable food and fresh produce items available on our free bench so come on in! All are welcome!

(menu subject to change as items may run out) Maximum of FOUR meals per curbside car/family. No call in deliveries available. If you have food needs beyond a meal for tonight, we can refer you to a local food pantry that can help. We have non perishable food available on our free bench inside for you to take home.
